Reddish Vale Park

REDDISH VALE, STOCKPORT

For Sat Nav: Reddish Vale Visitors Centre, Reddish Vale Country Park, Reddish Vale Rd, Stockport SK5 7HE

About the site

A beautiful green space

We have our own set up basecamp area in the park, but we also utilise a lot of the country park, the area closest to Reddish Vale Farm & Reddish Vale visitors centre.

We currently use this site for our home-education group only, we access multiple ponds and learn all about the park wildlife.

We enjoy learning and exploring around the river Tame, and Brinnington Beach. We work closely with the volunteers in the community garden and support the ongoing works and maintenance of the park.

Our set up

The children love the wild space, our base includes set up shelter and other things like hammocks, mud kitchen resources, tool use etc!

We are OFSTED registered as 'Good' and run our home-education group here.

The space is thriving with wildlife and we are passionate about getting local children and other groups down to site to access this fantastic space & provision.
