What to expect

1000043435.jpg

Our experienced Forest School team supports children to play, explore and build confidence within a natural environment.

We pause during the day for a snack, sometimes cooked on the fire. Children attending full-day sessions will need to bring a packed lunch. Please note we are a nut-free setting. (Marshmallow s’mores usually make an appearance during the final week of the summer holidays and on Fridays during other half terms!)

At the end of the session, we gather again at basecamp to share what we’ve enjoyed before home time.

Our ethos

Forest School is different from traditional holiday clubs. While we offer a range of activities and opportunities, children are always free to choose whether or not to join in. Some children take a little time to adjust if they are new to Forest School — our focus is on building relationships, confidence and imaginative play in a relaxed environment.

SEND & Additional Needs

We are proud to be a SEND-inclusive provision and welcome children with additional needs where we are able to safely meet them.
